WATCH ME RUN

1 Corinthians 9:24-27

The Need for Self-Discipline

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

I heard it said, “finish the race”.  Not everyone will come in first, but crossing that finish line means you did it.  Truly that something to be proud of in finishing.

Life is about one day entering Heaven, but while on earth, each day is filled with blessings.  It is his we view things that matter.  Is the glass half full or half empty?  The view I see, is half full.  Finding the positive in daily life.  Sure I could be sad on certain things of life but I really don’t like feeling down.

Determination is important 🌟

Watch me run this race of life when a grateful heart.  Building a legacy for family and friends.  Building a legacy of faith for my grandchildren.  Teaching and leading that prayer works.  Miracles happen and I will name a few tomorrow when i write.  I’ve came too far in life not to hold onto God’s promises.

My choices matter and so does yours.  Put your running shoes on and run this race with God’s Grace.

Blessings,

Sparkie
