Do Everything Without Grumbling
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.
18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
STOP ~ rethink your actions before you act. This is a good and you might just make a different choice of words or actions.
My granddaughter Averie asked me why I stop at a stop sign. She was almost five years old. I told her to drive there are rules and I must stop to look all directions before I can go. She said but the sign said stop. I had to think about that for a moment. Then i said yes, but after we stop, we can go. I would like to compare this to my spiritual life. There are time I must stop and follow the Bible in directions I should go next. Stopping makes me think and follow what is next.
Rejoice in God in all seasons. it’s through some of the hardest seasons of life, I have grown spiritually and learned to trust.
July 5th, 2023 marked five years since my daughter’s brain bleed. I was so scared when this happened and I heard lots of negatives things from others. I decided to believe God’s word and trust for a miracle. The miracle was instant and not instant. It took time but my daughter made it through so many things. She is a strong woman and the desire to live was greater than the fear.
In life, I’ve learned it’s a waste of time to grumble and complain. Be a doer of God’s plan and make the best in each new day!
