GOD ANSWERS

Psalm 138:1-3

Of David.

1  I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise.

2  I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name
for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it surpasses your fame.

3 When I called, you answered me;
    you greatly emboldened me.

When I pray, God hears me. I choose to praise God through it all. No, he doesn’t always answer when I think he will.

For example:

My son in law and daughter went to the doctor to hear the heart beat of their baby. I waited patiently at home for the call. My phone rang and I picked up quickly. It wasn’t what I thought and my daughter only said, “there is no heart beat”. I heard her cry and hang up. I immediately cried and began to pray for my daughter and son in law. I never expected to hear that.

Time would pass and God gave me a dream of a little girl. I told my daughter but she really didn’t want to hear that. God said he will give them a girl. Long story short, today we celebrate five years of that little girl Averie. God did exactly what he showed me. We celebrated her life with a unicorn swim party last weekend. We are headed to the zoo today. She has never been and loves animals. Happy 5th birthday Averie! God has a plan for your life.

God answered me and God answered the desire of my daughter’s heart. Notice that I said she didn’t want to hear about the baby. It took time for God to heal her heart and try again. Sometimes in life, the try again moment is build on faith. It’s what we can’t see but know is right within our hearts. After all, how do we know if we don’t try again. That try again moment might not be what’s God’s got plan for your life. We must trust and know that God knows the best for us.
