Psalm 51:10-12
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
I have noticed how each new day holds opportunities to live in God’s grace. We live in a busy land and people seem to be in a hurry. It’s almost like you don’t want to get in their way. Even I have become busy at times and tell myself to slow down. Treat others the way Jesus would and count some blessings daily. This bring me to ask God to renew a right spirit within me and not be frustrated when I ask someone to do something and they don’t want to.
I want the joy of God and keep pressing forward in doing God’s will. Yet there are times I must stop and refocus on life. How about you? Do you get overwhelmed with things and need to stop too? I think that is a human thing that happens. We must take care of self physically and spiritually.
There was a time in my life when I thought God took his anointing away from me. I had a wise older pastor’s wife that explained that God does not take his anointing away.
Romans 11:29
for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.
After hearing this, I felt a peace that only God can give! Thanking him for loving unconditional and creating a pure heart inside of me and you. Let us rejoice in this new day we have been given. Our choices matter each day. It is good to count blessings of your life.
