Happy 40th Birthday Chad ~

June 11, 1983

Chad felt the call of God on his life as a small child. He also wanted to be a drummer and beat up my pots and pans. He got a prophecy over him as a baby. The enemy would come to stop him and it was important to pray over him. At the age of two, his body started swelling up and I remembered the prophecy. The devil can’t harm him because God had a call on his life, prayer went up and his little body started to become normal again. The doctor didn’t believe in God but said he did after he saw Chad. A true miracle.

Psalm 139:14

14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Each of us need to remember we are fearfully made. When Chad was an adult and he was facing hard things, he left God’s house angry. Stating he would never return. Lots of things happen, a long time went by and he felt God tugging on his heart. He surrendered his life to God and now teaches grades 1-5 at our church with his wife Ashley. They make a great team with these children. It’s amazing how your yes to God changes lives of others.

I have found God can’t use you, if you don’t make yourself available. What has God told you to do? Finding it hard to say yes and stepping into purpose? Time goes by fast. Please let God use your life too. Each day is a new chance to make a difference.

I will praise God for every day life and the lives of others. We need each other. Today we celebrated Chad and his family. When my family is blessed, that blesses me. Purpose this a good day!
