IN MY ROOM

Matthew 6:6

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

As an adult, I set my alarm to wake up early to pray and get ready for the day. It’s quiet and I purpose to ask God in private to keep my family and friends safe, guided by him and miracles they need. Daily choices make such a difference in life.

Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

In my room as a kid:

I sat up my stuff animals together, to teach them kindness. One day I will be a teacher I told myself.

In my room as an adult:

My example in my room has taught me that prayer matters. It has changed me in talking with God. I’ve learned to pray and seek his will for my life. To be a positive example to my kids and grandkids. To be a Grammie of prayer and faith. I am a teacher with my life examples or leading in class at my Church. But I am not a license teacher.

In my room is quiet:

Psalm 46:10

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

What do you need to bring to God? Do you feel like nobody see’s you or knows you inside? I assure you that God hears you and puts people in your path on purpose. People pray for you and you may never know that. Bringing your request to God starts the process of him at work for you or for the reason you are praying!

I’ve seen miracles of life. I’ve seen heart breaks of life. Through it all, God has been there for me. When I ask God for his will, I better be ready! God is faithful and we should be faithful back. Allowing him to use our lives and live in peace of mind. God blesses you in many ways daily. Take time to give thanks and look around.

It’s a great day!
