Psalm 139:13-14
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Taking care of self can be hard. By the end of the day, there is no time left to take care of me. I heard this by several women over my years. Both by single moms and married women. There is always so much to do. When do I have time for me?
Over my life time, I have gotten up early or stayed up late to pray. I had to find time to focus and connect with God. Currently some days are about 10 hour days watching my grandkids. I take advantage of nap time or if they are watching a movie to write my blog or read scriptures. I purpose time for this. I do enjoy time with them.
How about you? What time do you purpose in studying the Bible?
2 Thessalonians 3:1
Pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.
Prayer helps in our busy days! We have Mother’s Day weekend here and time to guard your heart. Thinking of yourself and sometimes a day with a title brings so many thoughts. The one thought to remember is you are here for purpose!
Take care of yourself and you can make life so much better. Thinking positive instead of negative. Living in the now and not things you can not change. So much easier said than done at times. Remember this:
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through [a]Christ who strengthens me.
