Tell others you care, you love them and show God’s Grace. Suddenly things happen. One phone call, one accident and one breath can change your life. Your attitude matters. Let us remember we never know what someone else is going through in life. We see the outside but God looks on our hearts.
Jeremiah 31:3
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
I am loved by him and so are you. It’s up to you and me to show God’s love through our lives. I try daily to do that. There are times I get frustrated but I’m human. Humans make mistakes and it’s time to begin again. Let the frustrations of life go. Grab onto the love of God.
John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Showing love is through actions too. For example, I was in the drive through line at Starbucks and the car in front of me paid for me. It made my heart smile. Little did I know it was Sierra my friend. She text me later to say that was her. Then I went yesterday through the drive through line at Dunkin donut to get Averie a donut and the car in front of me paid. Wow, acts of kindness. So immediately I prayed blessings over both drivers. It’s often little things that are huge for someone else.
It’s not always related to buying something. It can be a text message of encouragement or phone call. Don’t let today go by without saying I care or I love you to those you care about in life. Suddenly things happen and sometimes we do not get to say goodbye to those we love. I know this from being 18 years old and my dad suddenly died in our house. Put your thoughts into actions today!
