6  for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Dictionary: WISDOM ~ the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.

Age is often a key factor of wisdom. We learn as we go. We learn from others. We watch and we learn.

Oh to be wise in younger years. I clearly remember older woman telling me to cherish time with my kids. I really didn’t get it, that time goes so quickly. Being frustrated they didn’t do something and now I wonder if it really mattered. They both were great kids. Soon they would be teenagers. Then adults and adults with kids. Watching them go through hard things, tears and broken hearts. Yet There was great times of weddings, babies and life moving forward.

I’ve learned not to beat yourself up over things. We all sinned and we all make mistakes. Looking back on what i wished I had done could change who I am today. All my yesterdays are inside me and I let the greater things arise.

Listening to older people doesn’t mean you do things their way but they just might have a great thought. I watched older ladies prayer at a alter at church. One lady explained why and that’s communication with God. Going down to the alter was surrendering to God in a act. I didn’t know that.

I saw ladies who had babies but i didn’t know how to take care of a baby. Yet I had Tracy and now what? Listening to other moms and doing just fine. I learned things through trying out giving Tracy didn’t food and timing of a bottle. She grew up just fine.

Listen, watching, grow and learn daily. We can become a great person through our own changes. Prayer changes you, which changes things.

There are benefits of growing daily in wisdom. You will live in peace of mind and know that God is able to meet you right here!

Blessings, Sparkie
