Sparkie Inspires

Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,

2  but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.

3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
    which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked!
    They are like chaff
    that the wind blows away.

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,
    but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

DELIGHT………

whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.

A mind stayed on Jesus!

Proverbs 3:5 to 6

[5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be planted in faith, like that tree planted by the stream of water! God is there for you and helps behind the scenes of life.

I remember a time when I laid on my living room floor praying. Calling out to God for him to hear me. I needed to encourage myself like David did.

1 Samuel 30:6

David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.

God answered my prayer in the midnight hour. I’ve learned to seek him and trust him through it all. I hope you will too.
