John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
Jesus paid the price!
Churches will be filled with people on Easter Sunday. Families will gather together to share food, laughs and make memories. Easter egg hunts will happen. People dress up and some ladies will wear beautiful Easter hats. I wonder if people will remember the words spoken by the Pastor.
Easter is about words written within the Bible and lived out on earth. Jesus didn’t just die on Good Friday but he rose again on Easter. A very spiritual happening on Easter Day. He has taught through example of being human and spiritual.
John 24:1-3
Jesus Has Risen
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
Jesus Has Risen
Spiritually speaking, When you connect with God on a new level, you find true peace. The picture of life is different once you ask God forgiveness of sin. The one thing is God never brings your sin back. It’s gone and you can live in freedom of that.
Let me repeat the first verse:
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
On this Easter and everyday of life, let us give thanks for Jesus! Keep the celebration continue as life moves forward.
Blessings, Sparkie
