Sparkie Inspires

Proverbs 27:17

As iron sharpens iron,
    so one person sharpens another

There are people who inspires us to become a better human. Watching their life and wanting to be like them. I remember going to church about 35 years old and seeing older ladies praying at the alter at church. I didn’t understand why they did that. Time would go on and I asked one of them why they were there every service praying. She said they were praying for souls of their families and others. I learned from these older women. They were in their 80’s and so much faith.

Hebrews 10:24-25

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

I write to spur you on in life. We need each other. We can learn from others and be encouraged too. I do believe in miracles because I’ve seen them.

One of the greatest miracles of life is life itself. God made you and me for his purpose. It is the free will that gets in the way. Mistakes happen and then there is consequences at times. It takes time to rebuild and somethings can’t be rebuilt again. We learn to begin again in life or choose to live defeated.

My mom chose to live defeated. I watched a 44 year old woman stop life after my dad died that year. She lived in the past. I was only 18 and my life changed too. Trying to figure out life wasn’t easy. I saw what I didn’t want to be. I chose to be a positive person.

You see me now or know my writings. I can reassure you that God is faithful. Through it all, I’ve learned, yes learned to trust in Jesus. He has placed positive people in my life. He surrounds my heart with peace that only he can give. People trust me with their secrets, their prayers and know that I won’t tell anyone. I value that trust. People watch our lives, let show them the love of God.
