The one thing we each have is a birth day! The Bible says we are unique and a masterpiece created by God.

Isaiah 64:8

Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
    We are the clay, you are the potter;
    we are all the work of your hand.

Fact: God has created each of us with free will. We can make our own decisions in life. Some is with freedom and some is with consequences. Be careful how you choose.

Today marks the 14th birthday of my first born granddaughter! She is smart, makes great decisions and loved by her friends plus family. Her mom (Ashley) went through a hard delivery. We view it as a miracle from God that both Ashley and baby were ok. God, we thank you this day to celebrate how you answer prayers.

Asking Brookley what do you want for your birthday? She listed a few things but wanted to go shopping. So that happened yesterday and she was so happy carrying bags into the house. Her dad and step mom took her to buy things she wanted. Her mom and step dad sent money too. I was there watching her baby sister. One of life’s best gifts to me, is watching my grandchildren be happy!

There is joy of your own birthday. I get excited when it’s my birthday, how about you for your birthday? We can feel the love on this day. We should also guard our hearts if we don’t get the things we hoped for on this day.

God, I pray over my granddaughter today and all my grandchildren everyday of life. Guard their hearts, keep them safe and let blessings surround them daily. I pray Jeremiah 19:11 A plan, A promise and A future! Thank you God for choosing me to be one if their Grandmothers. Amen
