MATTHEW 18:21-22

21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

FORGIVENESS ~ How many times do we need to forgive? 77 times!

My daughter taught me that you can forgive a person but you don’t need to let them back into your life. That was huge for me and so needed to hear. Let me say that again, you can forgive a person but you don’t need to let them back into your life.

Proverbs 18:21

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

I find it important to speak words of life to yourself! What if a person won’t forgive you? You still need to walk in forgiveness of it and press forward. When you have done all you can do, don’t let it consume you in a negative way. Let it go. Then press forward to what God has for you.

Philippians 3:14

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

It’s important to set your mindset everyday on living for God. Do the right thing always.
