Proverbs 3:1-6

My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart, 2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.

3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

DO NOT FORGET ~ Words Matter

As I read the Bible, I am reminded of the love of God. We are to speak words of life and encouragement. He has given us PEACE and PROSPERITY!

Oh how I trust the Lord in every season of life. Sometimes we must stop, take a deep breathe and know that God will carry us through situations. There are ups and downs in each of our lives. Let God shine through your life.

Speaking positive words can change your life. As a kid, my mom was mostly negative. She was very superstitious. I remember the time I broke a mirror and she yelled at me. She said seven years of bad luck to our family and it was all my fault. We would stay poor because of my mistake. Being a kid, I thought she was right and that weighed heavy on me. It was not a fun seven years and I counted the years. I would be a teenager. Now I know that wasn’t true at all. Crazy the things I believed she said and was so wrong. I grew up not living in peace most of the time.

Be careful the words your speak. Others listen and you never know how they will take words deep inside. God’s words (Bible) has hope, love and peace. Grab scripture of peace and prosperity to your soul. These are my thoughts for life, not just today. God wants to bless you everyday!
