Philippians 4:4-13

Final Exhortations

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice

5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

SAY IT AGAIN

Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

As tears fill my eyes, I recall how God had lead me through many things of life. It’s like being in the edge of seat just waiting on an answer of prayer. God knows and I have learned to trust him. Waiting on the Lord is not always easy but necessary!

Choosing to rejoice, to praise and give thanks for all the days of your life. Nobody knows what today will bring. I choose not to be anxious. I choose not to look at circumstances that worry me but keep the faith of knowing God is able. I choose positive words about self and I can share positive words to others. So can you.

Philippians 4:7-8

7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
