SEASONS CHANGE

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

A example of change: I remember a time when my mom needed a care home. I spent a lot of time there with my mom. Watching the aging experience and it wasn’t fun. She would color pictures from a coloring book and sale them for a dollar. She made a few dollars that day. There was days she didn’t know me at first. I cried when I would leave there. The girl at the front desk, Nicole would teach me a-lot about the care home and to go in peace. I felt guilt of leaving my mom but she couldn’t walk or leave there. It was less than a year and she would enter Heaven.

Another example of time: I would take care of my granddaughters Brookley and Willow. She was 3 years old and Willow 1. Preschool would come fast and Kindergarten too. Now they both are in Middle School. More grandkids would come and life continues to change. I enjoy time with my grandkids. Such a fun time being a Grammie and living a changing life. I love my grandkids and watching them do sports.

Another example of change: Seasons are Winter, Spring, Summer and fall. Each holds its own beauty and purpose. Each holds it own troubles and challenges of life. There will always be ups and downs. Let us never doubt the journey we live with God. His plan continues to unfold. Jeremiah 29:11 a plan, a promise and a future.

Change happens and God remains the same.

Blessings, Sparkie
