MIRACLES

The Bible says:

The Red Sea was parted and people walked across on dry land. God used Moses to part the sea.

Exodus 14:21

The blind man given site

John 9:1–11

You can read more miracle stories in the Bible. God is able and never forget that.

Miracles are sometimes in the process of time. I’m going to share a miracle story about my daughter Tracy. She had a baby and five days later she had a brain bleed. We didn’t know what happen other than a bag pain in her head. As I held her newborn baby and her three step sons standing behind me, we watched Tracy being put in the ambulance. One of the boys asked if she was going to die. I held back tears. Then about a hour, I got a call from her husband saying it was a life threatening thing and a helicopter was taking her to a different hospital. I cried out to God for her life. I held this little baby who needed her mommy. No more breast feeding or even holding her baby for days to weeks. Fast forward, it would be weeks to months of recovery. Each day was a miracle she was here and one day closer to health again. She needed medication every 2 hours for 22 days. My son and his fiancé’ would help too. Our family pulled together and saw God move.

It is good to tell miracle examples of change. It gives hope and courage in hard situations. It shows God power in the now. We are to ask God and hold onto go hope.

John 14:13

Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

One more miracle example:

The year was 1985 and my husband fell over 40 feet at a construction site. A crane knocked over a steel column he was inside. He landed face down on ground and the hard hat saved his face. He was taken to the hospital and released with cracked ribs. The next day he got up to go to work and his knee was huge. I took him to a doctor and X-ray. His knee cap needed a forth of it removed. The miracle of life and yet recovery time. Sometimes we must see the miracle along with change. He went back to carpenter work and retired in years to come.

I hope these two miracles have encouraged you and see the point of holding on to God through it all. I thank God for a new day every morning.

Blessings, Sparkie
