Patience

PATIENCE

We often give up right before God answers us. I know people who have given God a time line and if God doesn’t answer their prayers, they are doing things their way. I can see how their way really wasn’t the best way. Waiting on God takes patience and time. His clock is not exactly like our clock. He does things in his own timing. I think of how things would have turned out, if I had done somethings different. Sometimes patience is hard.

PATIENCE ~ The Dictionary says:

the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.

PATIENCE ~ The Bible

Galatians 6:9-10 New International Version (NIV)

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do goodto all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

God knew that we would get tired and weary in certain areas of life. That’s why he said not to become weary in well doing. God said, if you don’t give up, you will reap a harvest. Reading the Bible gives us scriptures to live by. Not becoming weary in well doing sends such a powerful message of hope. Stay on track and allow God to continue to guide your life. Does things change around us and hard to deal with at times? Yes, that happens to all of us. Nobody said that change was easy.

Psalm 37:7-9 New International Version (NIV)7 Be still before the Lord

and wait patiently for him;

do not fret when people succeed in their ways,

when they carry out their wicked schemes.

8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;

do not fret—it leads only to evil.

9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,

but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

PATIENCE ~

BE STILL BEFORE THE LORD

God has a way of teaching us things in life. Through each circumstance and someday we will inherit the land God has for us. Inside of our minds can be peace and rest in knowing God is in charge. Things happen and it turns our thoughts but God has a way of turning us back to him. My prayers continue for each of the readers of my blog, your family and friends. Purpose this a good day!
